Deep down 

Many of us are 

Seeking something 

Beyond our 

Current circumstance.

There is a restlessness 

That keeps us 

Unsettled and 

Striving.  

**

Many opportunities 

Appeal to this hidden desire. 

Yet, very few could possibly 

Satisfy. 

**

To be at rest and peace 

Requires a different Way. 

I pray that You will 

Examine my heart instead.  

As a daily practice. 

**

Drawing nearer to You. 

Seeking to know Your Voice.  

Trust and surrender grows. 

As my heart You 

Search.
